FRAS Bravo is a dedicated photometer for monitoring oxidative stress. Small and handy, with an intuitive touchscreen, it allows rapid measurement of the redox balance.
In less than 10 minutes, the redox balance in the blood can be determined using the d-ROMs FAST (prooxidant power) and PAT (antioxidant power). A single capillary blood sample, by means of acupuncture, is sufficient to perform both tests. FRAS BRAVO is also able to calculate the oxidative stress index (OSI) in real time.
The OSI index is an excellent starting point for the physician’s overall assessment of oxidative stress and makes it possible to quickly evaluate improvements or deteriorations following treatment.
For further analysis of the redox balance, a web app (OB Manager Online) is available, which provides a detailed report on the basis of the values returned by the instrument and the completion of questionnaires.
OB Manager Online can be used to effectively monitor the redox balance and optimise specific antioxidant therapies.
